This weekend our very own 3rd grader, Valentina Galindo, daughter of Ervey and Edith Galindo, performed in the SWISD Penguin Project. In the play, Annie, Jr., under the direction of Mr. Dickerson, Valentina played an orphan and a maid. Her mentor, Phoebe V. is a 6th grader from McNair MS and helped Valentina throughout this experience.
Ms. Velasquez and Mrs. Guzman were also a part of the SWISD Penguin Project. Without volunteers, this would not have come to fruition. Your willingness to help our students will always be cherished.
